The Bridal Atelier (formerly Atelier Gold) started life as a wedding dress making business in 2014. Since then, we have been working with the very lovely brides of Brighton and its surrounding areas, to create unique and inspired wedding dresses, which truly represent you and your vision.

Every bespoke wedding dress made is handcrafted in our ‘Atelier’ underneath the shop. We work in collaboration with you every step of the way, making perfecting tweaks fitting by fitting. The quality of our fabric is at the heart of each of our designs; Couture quality silks, and laces sourced from France, all in an array of beautiful bridal shades and colours for you to fall in love with. Bespoke is sometimes the unexpected, but really inevitable route for the discerning bride for whom off-the-peg was never going to cut it. If you can dream it, we can make it happen.

Our Wedding Dress Making Process
At our first wedding dress design appointment, we will go through your ideas and sketch out some designs.
Alongside this there will be fabric samples sourced especially for your vision, and we can choose the perfect combinations to achieve the desired fit and finish. One hour consultations to discuss the possibilities for your gown are free of charge.
You will then receive a final quote via email, for your consideration.
* Wedding Dress Making Costs *
Prices for your bespoke wedding dress start from £2500.
This includes everything you’ll need: your unique design, your chosen fabrics, a bespoke pattern drafted from your measurements, a toile (design depending), the manufacturing of your gown in our Brighton Atelier, the fittings and all the alterations required to make it perfect. Your initial consultation to discuss your wedding dress design and choose your fabrics is free of charge. Due to the nature of bespoke and the necessary time needed for each dress, our bespoke service is not unlimited. We can only take on a certain number of brides each year in order to dedicate the necessary time needed to each bride, so once were fully booked we wont be able to accept any more orders. An ideal timeline for a first consultation would be a year before the wedding date, however we have accommodated much shorter time frames where possible.
