At the beginning of your bridal appointment (speaking as your bridal stylist here!), there are a few questions I always ask before we begin. One of the most important is your budget.
I know it can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable talking about money and what you’re willing to spend on your dream dress. But I promise, I’m not asking as a sales tactic, and certainly never to judge you. Knowing your budget allows me to guide you towards gowns that genuinely work for you, making the most of our time together.
The last thing either of us wants is for you to fall completely in love with a dress that’s well outside what you’d ever feel comfortable spending. Heartbreakingly, once you’ve seen the dress, it’s incredibly difficult for anything else to compare.
Before you arrive for your appointment, have a good think about what you’d genuinely feel comfortable spending on your wedding dress. This may involve a conversation with your partner about your overall wedding budget. If someone is generously gifting your dress, it’s also worth chatting to them beforehand so you know what they’re happy to contribute. Having these conversations in advance removes a huge source of stress and allows you to relax and fully enjoy your appointment.
One thing I hear all the time is, “I have no idea what wedding dresses even cost!” That’s completely normal. To help, we’ve listed the price ranges for each of our designers on our website, so you can get a feel for which collections are likely to suit your budget before you visit. Every gown in the boutique is also clearly priced, so there are no surprises.

£1800–£3,000 | Watters, Elbeth Gillis  (+ selected Justin Alexander gowns)

Our two newest designers create beautifully crafted, couture-quality gowns that truly stand apart. Every dress is handmade to order, one at a time, taking around 4–6 months to produce. If you’re looking for something exceptionally special, you’ll find it here.

Gisele by Watters

£1,400–£2,200 | Justin Alexander

Our favourite designer, and one we’ve proudly stocked since day one. Justin Alexander is a heritage bridal brand known for fashion-forward designs, exceptional craftsmanship and a wonderfully reliable team. We’ve had years of happy brides who have felt like absolute goddesses wearing their gowns.

Jessa By Justin Alexander

£1,200–£1,500 | Adore by Justin Alexander

Designed by the same talented team, Adore offers all the quality and beauty of Justin Alexander with a more effortless, easy-to-wear feel. It’s also an excellent price point for made-to-order bridal wear.

Fabienne By Adore

£1,000 and under | Sample gowns

Every gown in the boutique eventually becomes a sample gown. We always have a fantastic selection available to purchase on the day at significantly reduced prices. If a style has been discontinued, it can be as much as 50% off, making it an incredible opportunity to find your dream dress for less.
If this is your budget, come prepared to make a decision if you fall in love, as each sample is the final dress available. As an experienced bridal seamstress, I’ll guide you through exactly what alterations are possible to achieve the perfect fit. You’ll receive the same in-house alterations service as every made-to-order bride, so you can leave knowing you’ve found an amazing bridal bargain.

Alterations

For 2026, our in-house alterations package remains £350 for TBA brides, offering excellent value. Your fittings take place in the boutique, and all alterations are completed in our atelier beneath the shop. There’s no need to source a separate seamstress or take your dress elsewhere—everything is looked after under one roof.

One of the reasons I really appreciate you trusting me with your budget is that it allows me to keep it firmly in mind throughout your appointment. If your dream dress is here, my goal is to make sure you try it on—but only if it’s genuinely within reach.
Of course, budgets aren’t always clear-cut. Some Watters and Elbeth Gillis gowns sit at lower price points, while a few Justin Alexander gowns sit higher. If I think a dress is relevant, or simply one you have to try, I’ll always suggest it. During your bridal appointment, we will be working together to find the dress that’s perfect for you.

When the right dress, the right feeling and the right price all come together, that’s when the magic happens.

Book your bridal appointment today, and let’s find your perfect dress—with the perfect price tag.
