Our alterations service ensures your dress fits perfectly, and after your wedding we can help you transform it into something new, whether that’s a midi dress, an evening skirt, a tailored top or even a modern jumpsuit. We encourage brides to keep their gown in use rather than stored away.
Because each dress is made to order, we allow realistic lead times for creation and fittings. If you’d like to understand more about fabrics, sourcing or after-care, we’re always happy to talk you through it.

The word ‘Atelier’ in our name is not always understood (it’s French for an artist or designers ‘workshop’) but it is at the very heart of what we offer at The Bridal Atelier.
Whether it’s your wedding dress alterations or a more bespoke offering, our approach is always to focus on the perfect fit of that one incredibly special dress, usually the only piece of couture a woman will wear in her life time. It gives us the unique ability to really look after our brides the whole way through, and make the experience stress-free and unforgettable.
